There are several existing organizations that offer a variety of resources for renters. For housing assistance and further support, check out these organizations:
Rental Services Helpdesk - (503) 823-1303. Hours are Monday, Wednesday, Friday 9am - 11am and 1pm - 4pm.
Provides general information, referrals to organizations and technical assistance. Offers in person appointments Tuesdays only.
Call 211 or visit their website 211info.org. They offer information on a wide array of services, including Housing & Shelter and Utility Assistance.
Housing & Shelter includes lists of Low Income housing in the city, Eviction Prevention assistance and much more.
Fair Housing Council of Oregon:
If you think you've experience discrimination in renting, real estate, appraisals or other things related to housing you can contact FHCO for assistance.

FHCO does not work in landlord tenant law themselves, but can help direct you on if further action should be taken, where to get help, etc.
Works with low-income residents of Oregon, covering legal issues from Housing to Tax Issues and much more.
