Portland Resources List

There are several existing organizations that offer a variety of resources for renters. For housing assistance and further support, check out these organizations:

  • Portland Housing Bureau:

    • Rental Services Helpdesk - (503) 823-1303. Hours are Monday, Wednesday, Friday 9am - 11am and 1pm - 4pm.

    • Provides general information, referrals to organizations and technical assistance. Offers in person appointments Tuesdays only.

  • 211info:

    • Call 211 or visit their website 211info.org. They offer information on a wide array of services, including Housing & Shelter and Utility Assistance.

    • Housing & Shelter includes lists of Low Income housing in the city, Eviction Prevention assistance and much more.

  • Fair Housing Council of Oregon:

    • If you think you've experience discrimination in renting, real estate, appraisals or other things related to housing you can contact FHCO for assistance.

    • FHCO does not work in landlord tenant law themselves, but can help direct you on if further action should be taken, where to get help, etc.

  • Legal Aid Services of Oregon:

    • Works with low-income residents of Oregon, covering legal issues from Housing to Tax Issues and much more.
